"Fantastic place - This property was such a great find! It was clean and very stylish. All the amenities were amazing, literally had everything you could need to cook and do everything else. The lady running it was lovely aswell, I accidentally took her bread paddle with me and she was so understanding and nice about it. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay again!" - Erin
"Exceptional - Ivydene is an absolute little gem of a cottage! The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Whitby, you can park the car up and get the bus or taxi nice and cheap. Its the perfect little cottage to relax in after a long day and the hosts have gone above and beyond, there's not a detail they haven't thought about! And the lovely touches they have made, made us feel so welcome and at home. I honestly couldn't fault Ivydene, thank you so much for a lovely stay! We'd love to return in the future"- Isabelle
"Fabulous cottage. beautifully decorated and equipped to an exceptional standard. Clearly a labour of love for Nikki and Dave who were wonderful hosts. The cottage is deceptionally spacious and the additional touches such as the freshly baked bread awaiting us when we arrived were really appreciated and show how much thought has gone into making guests feel at home. "An attractive, well equipped and comfortable cottage in a quiet hamlet but close to the tourist areas of Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. A lovely cottage that has been totally renovated. The decor was very well designed, well equipped, the bed was really comfortable and everything was extremely clean. There's a garden area across ther back lane with seating and a BBQ but unfortunately due to the weather we didn't get to use it. It is well situated in a small hamlet half way between Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. It's on the bus route to both places or you can walk as it's on the Coast to Coast Path. We were greeted by the smell of fresh bread baking and the hamper of goodies was very welcome. There's a very nice pub within 2 minutes walk" - Lindy Fiona

"A beautiful cottage in an ideal location with superb hosts - Hawsker is an ideal location as you could leave the car and catch the bus service to Whitby or Scarborough. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The hosts also provided a welcome basket including milk, butter, orange juice and freshly baked bread. The cottage had an upstairs and downstairs toilet and toiletries were provided. They also provided books and games"- Carol

"Ideally situated if you want to be outside the busyness of Whitby but with good public transport links to Whitby and other places on the East coast. It was clean and comfortable. Loved the decor and the welcome hamper was much appreciated! It was lovely to sit out in ther new garden and relax after a busy day sightseeing" - Dorothy
